Officials lock down buildings for testing

Health officials on Monday imposed lockdowns on a number of buildings in Kowloon City, Kwai Chung, Chai Wan and Kwun Tong, after sewage samples there tested positive for Covid-19.

The buildings are Yuet Ching House, Sheung Ching House and Mun Ching House at Kai Ching Estate, Shek Hing House at Shek Lei (l) Estate, Cheong Yee House and Yat Yee House at Yee Tsui Court, and Tin Kei House at Shun Tin Estate.

Residents must get tested for the coronavirus and remain at home until further notice.

Officials said they plan to wrap up the operations at around noon or in the afternoon on Tuesday.
