More than 600 new Covid infections found: sources

More than 600 new Covid-19 infections will be reported in Hong Kong on Monday, sources say, in what will be a record high daily number for the territory.

The current record was reached on Saturday, when 351 patients were identified.

Health officials found 342 infections on Sunday, all of them locally acquired.

The authorities say they expect the number of cases in the city to rise rapidly.
