IT chief’s secretary tests positive for Covid

The Innovation and Technology bureau on Wednesday said a secretary who works for minister Alfred Sit had tested positive for Covid-19 in a rapid antigen test.

A bureau spokesman said the secretary last met Sit on February 22 and had worn a face mask as well as observed anti-infectious measures during work.

He said the IT minister does a rapid antigen test every day and all the test results have been negative.

The office will be disinfected and staff were being arranged to get tested.
