Four preliminary cases spotted in Tai Po lockdown

Authorities on Wednesday found four preliminary positive Covid-19 cases from a Tai Po block that was locked down overnight.

Health officials said they are among around 530 people living in Wang Chi House in Wang Fuk Court who underwent tests.

Officers also visited 248 households in the block and 28 of them did not answer the door.

Around 500 people living in Wang Shing House were also tested overnight but didn’t return any positive cases, although one person has to be tested again.

Officers visited nearly 250 households in Wang Shing House and 30 of them didn’t answer the door.
