Compulsory Testing Notice published for 62 premises

The government on Sunday issued a compulsory testing notice ordering people who’ve visited 62 specified premises to undergo Covid-19 tests.

“In view of 47 locally acquired cases, 12 cases linked with previous cases, one imported case and one case tested preliminarily positive, 59 specified premises are included in the compulsory testing notice,” health officials said.

They urged members of the public to go for tests on time, adding that officials will also visit the affected premises to notify residents.

“Furthermore, since some sewage samples collected in Wong Tai Sin and Tuen Mun have tested positive, three specified premises are included in the compulsory testing notice,” they added.

They said the compulsory testing requirement also applies to members of the public who are fully vaccinated.
