Almost 900 infections found in lockdowns

Health authorities on Tuesday discovered 897 preliminary Covid cases after locking down seven residential blocks in Kwai Chung, Kwun Tong, Kowloon City and Chai Wan.

Tin Kei House of Shun Tin Estate saw the highest infection rate, with around 20 percent of the 1,080 residents there testing positive.

The test results of 501 residents of Mun Ching House, Sheung Ching House and Yuet Ching House at Kai Ching Estate also came back positive.

Shek Hing House at Shek Lei Estate accounted for 109 cases.

Lockdowns of Cheong Yee House and Yat Yee House at Yee Tsui Court, meanwhile, picked up 55 infections.
