RTHK staff tests preliminary positive for Covid

The staff member, who’s an assistant producer working at the Educational Television Centre on Broadcast Drive in Kowloon Tong, last went to work on February 10.

He primarily worked in the offices on the ground floor of the building and was wearing a mask.

Management will arrange to have the building thoroughly cleaned and disinfected on Friday morning.

In accordance with government guidelines, RTHK will have staff members linked to the patient tested for the coronavirus or sent to quarantine centres. It will also help track down his close contacts.

Earlier this month, an RTHK hair stylist tested positive for Covid at Television House, also on Broadcast Drive.
