Rocky Tuan re-appointed CUHK vice-chancellor

The Chinese University of Hong Kong has confirmed that Rocky Tuan has been re-appointed as its vice-chancellor.

A statement released by the university on Wednesday morning said Tuan’s re-appointment comes following a council meeting on Tuesday, and that his new three-year term will begin on January 1, 2024.

Tuan said in the statement that he was “humbled” by the council’s decision, and that he looked forward to continuing to work with the university, and making sure it is at the “forefront of excellence in research, education and innovation”.

Tuan first took up the post of CUHK’s vice-chancellor in 2018.
