Parts of Yuen Long, Tai Po under Compulsory Testing

Health officials have issued a compulsory testing notice covering parts of Yuen Long and Tai Po after Covid traces were detected in sewage samples.

The mandatory testing locations include Wah Ping House in Long Ping Estate, Yuen Long and Kwong Lai House in Kwong Fuk Estate, Tai Po.

The government also said that in order to follow up the results of sewage testing in Sham Shui Po, Kwun Tong, Sha Tin, Yuen Long and Tsing Yi districts, the Home Affairs Department will distribute rapid test kits to residents and all cleansing workers and property management staff working in parts of Sham Shui Po and Tsing Yi, including Su Uk Estate and Cheung Wang Estate.

The Home Affairs Department will also distribute three rapid test kits to cleaning staff and property management staff in several districts.

This included residential areas between Tonkin Street and Hing Wah Street in Sham Shui Po, Tsui Ping North Estate in Kwun Tong, and Lung Hang in Tai Wai. Hin Keng Village in Shatin, Block 1 and Block 5 of New Yuen Long Centre, and several buildings in Cheung Hang Village, Tsing Yi.
