Health officials put Sea View Mansion on Connaught Road West under lockdown on Friday evening after a resident who had returned from the United States via Doha on Thursday tested preliminary positive for the virus.
Officials say the 32-year-old man, who had taken both of the BioNTech vaccines in April, did not show any symptoms, and had tested negative before he got on the plane in the United States.
He had stayed at Sea View Mansion in Sheung Wan from July 15 to 25, before flying to the United States.
Authorities completed their operations at the building at around 6:30am on Saturday, and found no infection.
But they urged around 70 households which had not answered the door during the lockdown operation to contact them for a Covid test as soon as possible.
