Hong Kong to see over 1,300 new cases: sources

Hong Kong’s daily Covid-19 tally is set to continue rising and hit another record high, with sources telling RTHK that the number of new infections on Friday will exceed 1,300.

There were 986 cases on Thursday, all but one were local infections.

Some citizens confirmed with the coronavirus have been complaining that they had been waiting at home for days to be hospitalised.

A number of medical experts have expressed concern that the virus would spread even further if patients could not be quickly isolated.
