Hong Kong reports five imported Covid-19 cases

Hong Kong on Sunday reported five new imported Covid-19 cases, with the patients flying in from the United Kingdom and the Philippines.

Both countries are listed as high-risk by the SAR’s health officials.

The Centre for Health Protection said two of the cases were picked up at the airport, two were confirmed during their stay at a quarantine hotel.

The fifth patient had returned an indeterminate result during quarantine, and later tested positive after she was admitted to the hospital.
