Govt adds mobile Covid testing points

Several new mobile specimen collection stations will start operating from Friday as part of government efforts to boost testing capacity.

They are located at the open plaza of Kai Tak Station Square, Cheung Sha Wan Playground, Tsuen King Circuit Sports Centre in Tsuen Wan, Luen Wo Hui Playground in Fanling, Tin Pak Road Park in Tin Shui Wai and Butterfly Bay Community Centre in Tuen Mun.

Officials said ticketing machines will be available in some of these stations, so people with tickets can check the real-time queuing status online.

Mobile testing points have also been set up at locations such as Edinburgh Place in Central, Maple Street Playground in Sham Shui Po and On Hing Playground in Yuen Long.

The government urges people to get tested if they think they may be infected or exposed to the virus.
