Compulsory testing ordered for 28 locations

The government on Wednesday evening issued compulsory testing notices (CTNs) ordering people who had visited 28 specified premises to get tested for Covid.

The affected buildings include five residential blocks in Sham Shui Po, three in Sha Tin, and two each in Ma On Shan, Cheung Sha Wan and Tuen Mun. CTNs were also issued for residential buildings in Tung Chung, Tsz Wan Shan, Lam Tin, Ngau Tau Kok, and Diamond Hill.

The notices also covered buildings in several other districts as well.

The government said the compulsory testing requirement also applied to people who had been vaccinated.

The Centre for Health Protection said Hong Kong reported 4,285 coronavirus cases on Wednesday.
