Compulsory testing ordered for 21 buildings

The government on Monday evening issued a compulsory testing notice (CTN) ordering people who had visited 21 specified premises to get tested for Covid.

The affected buildings are spread all over Hong Kong from Aberdeen to Tin Shui Wai. But CTNs have been issued for two blocks in Yat Tung Estate, in Tung Chung, and for buildings in Mei Tin and Mei Lam estates in Tai Wai.

The government said the compulsory testing requirement also applied to people who had been vaccinated.

The Centre for Health Protection said Hong Kong reported more than 2,1000 coronavirus cases on Monday.
