Authorities said the quality of the water has also been tested to make sure it’s safe again.
The HK$50 million fountain and its “interactive wet play areas” came into use late last month, but had to be suspended after a comedian from web TV channel, 100Most, treated himself to a bubble bath there to mock the attraction’s hefty price tag.
In a statement issued on Monday, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department called on people to “exercise civic-mindedness when using facilities at pleasure grounds”.
“A person shall not obstruct nor annoy any other person,” it said.
The statement added that officers will step up patrols to ensure normal operation.
